COVID-19 Church of Scotland Advice

Time Out Returns to St. Andrew's on 1 November 2020

TIMEOUT RETURNS TO ST. ANDREW’S PARISH CHURCH ON 1 NOVEMBER 2020
Good news, Time Out will begin again on Sunday 1st of November at 9.45 a.m. with a few changes mainly due to Covid 19.

We will now meet in the Old Chapel , situated at the back of the church and we’ll enter by the entrance/exit door which leads straight into the Old Chapel. One of the Time Out leaderss will meet the children at the Old Chapel door because, at the moment , parents are asked not to enter this area. We are following Church of Scotland Guidelines and adults and any helpers over 12 will be wearing a mask at all times but of course young children don’t require one. We are, at present , unable to be in Church so please return to the Old Chapel entrance/exit door to collect children.

Unfortunately we can’t have “The Feast “ at the moment or our usual juice and biscuits with the congregation but the children are welcome to bring along their own drink and snack.

All nursery and primary school age children are welcome to come along and join us for bible stories, painting / craft, games and just a fun time in a safe and secure environment. We hope to see you there.
Should there be any change in Scottish Government or Church of Scotland Guidance which affects this, we will keep you updated.

Donate Online

Church of Scotland ministers are reaching out by phone or online to provide pastoral care and spiritual support to people who need reassurance, hope and comfort. Many are supporting our key workers and their families as they continue to deliver vital services. They are caring for bereaved families amid challenging restrictions.

In addition, many churches are providing critical community services such as running foodbanks and feeding the hungry and homeless. A donation from you can help support the Church's work in your area and ensure the Church is sufficiently equipped and resourced to face these challenging times.

Whether you are a church member who wants to continue to give your regular offering to your own congregation or a friend to the Church who is moved to contribute for the good of your community, we want to help you support the Church in whichever way you feel led.
